A Journey Beyond the Veil of Life

The Horizon’s Edge

We chase the flawless line,
where the sky meets the earth,
where every step forward
should bring us closer.
But the horizon never waits
it shifts, it bends,
it moves just beyond reach.

We carve ourselves into shapes
we think the world will admire,
polish the rough edges,
smooth the imperfections,
as if we could sculpt ourselves
into something whole,
something finished.

Yet perfection is a ghost
it lingers in the distance,
whispers of what could be
but never truly is.
Because to be human
is to be incomplete,
to rise and stumble,
to mend and break again.

And maybe that is the beauty
not in reaching perfection,
but in the reaching itself,
in the trying, the failing,
and the learning
that even the sky touches nothing,
yet still stretches endlessly forward.
